Rot3K Graphics and Web – Privacy Agreement

We care about your privacy and personal information. As we offer a service (Graphics and Web Design) we will detail our Privacy Policy on this page so you understand exactly what policies are. The whole Privacy Policy is constructed around honorable intentions and as you will see everything is most likely what you would expect. I: Why We Retain Your Information

We collect your information so we can update the web page(s) on the appropriate web server and to maintain contact with you. If you agree we may also list you as a business reference.

II: Collection of Information

Information will be submitted to us when you apply for a site quote and when we are developing a site for you. We do not collect information from you for any other reason.

III: Use of Information

The information collected is necessary to maintain contact with you while your site is developed. It is also necessary to log on to the web server you are using if you choose to have your site developed from the ground up online. When the site is completed all information will be retained for personal records, but will not be actively used for anything. While we are working on your site your information will only be used to maintain contact with you or a representative of your business and to log on to a web server if necessary. We will also use your information as a business reference if allowed (see IV).

IV: When We Disclose Personal Information

You may be asked if you are willing to offer a business reference. If you agree your contact information (information you choose such as an e-mail address, mailing address, or phone number) will be given to any potential clients that request references. Potential clients will be required to agree to section VIII (see VIII) before receiving your information. You have the right to contact us at any time to revoke this decision. If you do so we will no longer use your information or list you as a reference.

V: How We Protect Your Personal Information

Actively used information is protected behind a hardware and software firewall. Both farewells allow us to monitor and prevent unauthorized access to the computer. The computers used for this purpose are not accessible to the public. In addition all active information is monitored while leaving the network and if not under specified parameters and sent by specific programs the transfer will be prevented.

When information is not longer in active use it is transferred from the computers on to media and placed into storage. This ensures continued security until the information is deemed unimportant and not necessary for future records.

VI: Accessing Your Information

You may request, at any time, a copy of all information we have on you, your company, and the current project. You may request that information be discarded if you deem it unnecessary for progression of the project. We must maintain all information required for the project in order for the project to be completed. You may ask us to examine your information and discard unnecessary data. If you are in the employ of the entity that initiated our agreement we must have authorization from that authority before we can release that information to you.

VII: Our Promise

We are very concerned with safety and maintaining your privacy. We do, and will always continue to protect your information and will always be looking for ways to improve security.

VIII: Information Distribution Agreement

Your information is only released to others when you agree to represent us as a reference. The information released is only what you agree to have sent out. As a potential client you understand that the information provided to you as references may only be used to contact the individuals in relation to our earlier projects. When you have contacted out references and finished all correspondence with them you must remove their information from all soft and hard copy records unless you have their authorization to retain it.
